Who we are
Hadley Bricks Consulting is run by Chris Hadley in the United Kingdom. Contact: chris@hadleybricks.co.uk or WhatsApp +44 7855 620978.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect what you type in: your name, business name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, town, country and your message.
When we prepare a website preview for a business, we use information the business has already made public, such as its name, address, phone number, menu, opening hours and public reviews.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask us to, to build and look after your website.
- To keep a record of our conversations with businesses, so we don't contact anyone more often than the law allows.
We use your details on the basis of your request (for enquiries), our contract with you (for clients), and our legitimate interest in contacting businesses about our services in a limited, respectful way.
Direct marketing
We contact a business by message only once to ask whether it would like to hear more, and we follow the direct marketing rules of the country the business is in. If you ask us not to contact you again, we record that and stop. Under data protection laws such as the UK GDPR, the EU GDPR and South Africa's POPIA, you can object to direct marketing at any time.
Where it's stored and for how long
Enquiries and contact records are stored in a secure cloud database that only we can access. We keep enquiry records for up to two years after our last contact, and client records for as long as we work together plus the period required for tax records.
We don't sell your information or share it with anyone else, except service providers that help us run the business (hosting, database and payment processing).
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. Email chris@hadleybricks.co.uk and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information you can complain to the data protection authority in your country, for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK.
